3-axis G-Sensor and GPS receiver:
Thanks to the 3-axis gyroscopic sensor (G-sensor), your dashcam can register physical movements, for example when you brake suddenly or in the event of an accident/impact. In that case, the recorded images are saved in a separate folder, so that they cannot be overwritten afterward.
While driving, certain physical forces act on your camera. These G-sensor data (force, direction,..) are processed in the video recording and saved together with the data from the built-in GPS receiver (coordinates, speed, date & time, ...). With 'KENWOOD VIDEO PLAYER' you can see on a map (Google Maps) where and when the recordings took place and which direction of travel, speed, power, ... were applicable at that time.

Smart parking mode:
Use your dashcams as parking security. While your car is parked and the 3-G sensor detects physical movement from your vehicle, the camera will start recording for 30 seconds and then return to standby mode. By connecting the optional rearview camera KCA-R100 to the DRV-A700W or DRV-A501W, you can simultaneously record what is happening in front of and behind the car when tailgating is going on to collisions with the front or rear of your car in smart parking mode. The KCA-R100 has a lens with a wide viewing angle of 161° that 180° can be rotated vertically.
