The Club 64C, Club 64CTP component Speaker system come with the Starfish™ tweeter mounting adapter. The Starfish tweeter mounting adapter allows for easy installation of the tweeter behind factory grilles and in locations such an A-Pillar. It also provides six break-off mounting tabs to accommodate many mounting configurations. The tweeter can be surface- or flush-mounted. The tweeter can be easily serviced, and doesn’t require removing the whole assembly.

I-Mount Tweeter Mounting Kit

The I-Mount™ (patent no. 5,859,917) tweeter-mounting system allows easy and versatile installation of tweeters in each of the component systems. It includes a flush cup and surface-mount mounting hardware. With a 1-3/4” cutout and a 1”” mounting depth, installation becomes a snap. This allows the tweeter to be flush-mounted and can be angled up to ±40 degrees. Locknuts are included to keep everything in place, and the tweeter can be replaced without removing the whole assembly.

Our award-winning Mica Reinforced Cellular (MRC) diaphragm material has been further enhanced with a honeycomb structure for unparalleled rigidity and responsiveness. Over the years, the MRC material has been improved, allowing us to create a driver that is ten times stronger than a conventional PP matrix cone and that produces natural sound with low distortion and a wide frequency range.

Surround with separated cutouts on the edge
The woofer's surround sound features another proprietary technology from Sony: the signature curved cutouts improve the vertical symmetry of the amplitude for significantly reduced distortion and improved clarity.

Five-way frame structure and Dynamic Air Diffuser
The resonance breaks down through the five-way frame design, and the built-in Dynamic Air Diffuser allows for efficient air circulation, so the voice coil moves smoothly and cools down.

Coil with progressive height level
The acoustically optimized coil provides a higher flow capacity and better airflow. The profile is designed for faster and more precise damping of the speaker cone. For better signal integrity and to prevent audio interference, the voice coil lead is also sewn to the coil, which reduces wire movement.

Optimal formulation
